Programme notes

In the barbaric era where the Flame Emperor and the Yellow Emperor lived, heroes vie for the throne in the Central Plains. When the world-recognized leader, Emperor Shennong, passes away, the heroes of the Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth clans are all ready to make a move. In this turbulent era, a young boy named Tuoba Ye is born. By chance, he is appointed the successor by Emperor Shennong at his deathbed, thus beginning a thrilling legend.
